Description:

1. The Multiple Choice, Single Correct question type now has a partial credit grading option, allowing the instructor to assign a percentage of the point value to incorrect answers.
2. The Export feature found under Assignments > Scores will now include all text entered into the Comments for Student fields, along with the students' scores and responses.
3. The default selection for feedback delivery in assignment settings has been changed from 'Immediate Feedback' (available while taking assignment) to 'Feedback on Submission' (available after assignment is submitted for grading).

Feature: Enhancements to the Materials tool

Description:

1. Item descriptions in Materials will now be displayed by hovering over an information icon next to the item's title. This is easier to see than the View Details link under the Actions menu.
2. The upload limit for adding files within the Materials tool has been increased from 40 MB to 100 MB. (The upload limit does not apply to uploading files through WebDAV.)
3. A warning will appear in the Materials page if an upload fails due to the file upload limit being exceeded.

Problem: The labels of 'Active (testing in progress)' vs. 'Inactive (no student access)' in the Published Assignments area are inaccurate for some scenarios. Assignments that are past the due date are listed as Inactive, even though they may still be available to some students if late submissions are allowed.

Resolution: The listing of assignments as Active or Inactive is now accurate. If an assignment is available to any student (e.g., late submission allowed after due date), it will appear in the Active list. Assignments will only appear in the Inactive list if no student can access it.

Problem: The behavior of a linear access assignment is inconsistent. When a student saves answers and exits the assignment, the student will be taken to the next question after the last question visited when returning to the assignment. When a student closes the browser or navigates away from the assignment without saving, the student will be taken to the last question visited when returning to the assignment.

Resolution: When a student returns to a linear access assignment, the last question visited will be displayed no matter how the student leaves the assignment. Additionally, linear access assignments will be set as one submission only, since the intention of linear access is to prevent students from reviewing previously answered questions.

Resolution: Content creation pages in the mobile portal now load a simple text field instead of the rich-text editor, allowing for simple content creation. Please note that it is not possible to have any formatting, including line breaks, when entering text using the mobile portal. This fix only applies to iPhones.
